PC Hardware:
Client Computer:
RAM: 512MB minimum, 1GB recommended.
Database Host/Server Computer:
RAM: 1GB minimum, 2GB or more recommended.
Printing:
SportsMan SQL uses Windows compatible printers for report printing and serial or parallel receipt printers for receipts.
Operating System:
Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP Pro SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Vista Business SP1 or better.
All computers accessing SportsMan SQL should have the latest Microsoft Service Packs installed.
Other:
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Optional Equipment:
Point-of-Sale:
A serial(RS-232) port is required for each of the following:
Serial receipt printer, standalone cash drawer. USB Receipt Printers & Cash drawers are NOT supported.
Access Control:
A serial(RS-232) port is required for each of the following:
Combination barcode and magnetic stripe reader, handheld barcode reader, 2 channel gate relay switch.
USB barcode reader & gate switches are not supported.
A sound device and speakers are required if audio messages are to be played upon entrance.
